Armadillidium germanicum "Darth Vader" #springtails

Armadillidium germanicum "Darth Vader" #springtails10 count mix aka Adige valley aka darth Vader isopod These have a beautiful contrast between the black and yellow. Very rare in the hobby too. I've kept them semi moist but not damp with success. They love lava rocks and I'm sure would love limestone just as much.

They are an extremely small species topping out at about 1”

They do love cucumbers ive found

I keep them on reptisoil though as it seems to work best for them

That's also where my policies are

I give them bark

Some leaf litter too

moss and the normal leaf litter

So far they have avoided it like its the springtail plague

No issues with them getting it on

These aren’t no regular zebras

After 12 hrs add a few oats next to it

Sometimes i lightly spray the inside of the lid to keep humidity higher
