Reggaenomics (Vinyl LP) PrintsMonyaka (Swahili for good luck) are a six piece, Jamaica born reggae act, based in Brooklyn, NY originally founded in 1974. 1982 they released the album Reggaenomics on Easy Street record label. Includes the UK hit Go Deh Yaka (patois for Go To The Top) and reached number 14 in the UK charts. It cleverly fused reggae and contemporary R&B.
