4' X 6'6" Antique Baluch Long Rug [TAK0038] mintCollector's Notes This Antique Baluch long rug was woven in the early 19th Century featuring a worn look from its age. It exhibits two rows of six unusual octagonal 'turkmen' type gul designs not usually found on Baluch rugs. These octagonal bird head guls are flanked by smaller red and white star motifs. All surrounded by a beautiful meandering flower and vine border with a glowing red background. Overall, great worned accent rug or wall hanging art.

Flanked by three meandering vine borders

Age: Circa 1850-1895
