The 280X adds BOOST for immediate recall, Boost & Level Lock safety, audible tone, and XPP vibration over the 280C/282C — the full X-Series feature set in the compact form factor. The central command button on the front of the transmitter is programmable to any function you need most, accessible with a gloved thumb in the field. LED locate light on the receiver, double-layer protective casing on both units.

100 levels of stimulation, 1/2-mile range, expandable to 3 dogs if you add a third receiver down the road. For dogs 10 lbs and up — the compact receiver fits breeds where a full-size collar is too bulky.
