Okanagan Crush Pad - Garnet Valley Ranch Sparkling 2016The Okanagan Crush Pad winery was founded on a long history of friendship, and shared respect for the land. The team passionately creates wines that showcase the wild beauty of the Okanagan. Organic farming principles follow into the cellar where nature shapes and directs their wines. Okanagan Crush Pad opened in 2011 to provide a home base for Christine Coletta and Steve Lornies original wine label Haywire, and to serve as a custom crush facility.

Traditional method sparkling wine made the way it was meant to be

uncommon for an entry-level line

Fruity nose with a delicate pear finish

The results are extraordinary

and produces wines that are beautiful when young and have the capacity to age 5-10 years

Vinification is also carried out respecting the terroirs

the use of oak barrels is judicious in order to let the wine play the main role in all circumstances

but even its 3-year-old Madeira are wines of great quality

and priding themselves on using local ingredients

not by becoming a large company but by creating a sustainable business within their community
