An upland hunting dog that’s holding point in tall grass at 200 yards is all but invisible. The beeper is how you find them. The e-collar is how you manage them once you get there. The Dogtra 2700 T&B puts both in one unit, and it does it without the collar bulk that comes from strapping two separate devices to a dog’s neck.
The beeper horn is built directly into the receiver body and faces downward — flush with the collar profile rather than sticking up or out. This design reduces snag points in cover and keeps the unit more comfortable for a dog working through tight brush. Three beeper modes — Point-Only, Run/Point, and Locate — cover the practical scenarios: know when your dog is running, know when they’ve locked up, and find them when they’ve gone quiet.
The 2700 T&B is the upgrade over Dogtra’s 2500 T&B. The new Accelerometer sensor replaces the older motion detection system, giving more accurate point detection with fewer false beeps. The High-Performance Pager (HPP) vibration system is noticeably stronger than the previous generation — useful for dogs that respond better to vibration than sound corrections in some situations. Stimulation runs to 127 nick/constant levels, giving you precision across a wide range of dogs and conditions.
Range is 1 mile — meaningful in open prairie, CRP, and large marshes where bird dogs can get out of sight quickly. IPX9K waterproof rating means it handles retriever work, creek crossings, and weather without issue.
If you’re running two dogs, the Dogtra 2702 T&B is the two-dog version of the same system. For replacement straps or contacts, see our Dogtra accessories.
