We field-tested this Ugly Dog women’s Microtech quarter-zip in all sorts of weather in Vermont, Maine, Utah, Georgia, and South Dakota. (Yes, sacrificing workdays to go hunting…) It served equally well as a thin layer on warm days in the quail fields as it did as a middle layer chasing pheasants on the prairie and as a base layer in the grouse woods. 100% polyester, the fabric is anti-microbial, anti-snag, and anti-bunchy. Smooth and comfortable, it wicks away moisture and doesn’t grab your gun mount. Side tan panels give a slimming look and the collar can be zipped all the way up if it’s windy or cool.
