The center ring sits at the top of the dog’s neck rather than dangling from the buckle. That is the whole point. When a dog is running heavy cover and the collar rolls, the ring rolls with it, and the lead clips where your hand already is.

It also does not clank. A D-ring collar on a hard-charging dog sounds like a wind chime.

What it is made of

Free engraved nameplate

Every collar ships with a brass nameplate engraved with what you want on it, riveted flat against the collar. Not a dangling tag that catches on a fence and disappears into a cattail slough.

Sizing

Measure the neck with a soft tape where the collar sits while the dog is sitting, then order from the chart.

• Neck 12 to 14 inches: order 15 inch
• Neck 15 to 17 inches: order 17 inch
• Neck 18 to 19 inches: order 19 inch
• Neck 20 to 21 inches: order 21 inch

Measuring an existing collar instead? Measure from the center of the buckle to the middle hole.
