If your dogs hunt big country; Montana grasslands, open mountains, or anywhere they regularly work to the edge of your handheld’s range, the long range antenna is worth the swap.

The 22.5-inch Long Range VHF Antenna is four inches longer than the standard unit, and those four inches make a real difference at the edges of the system’s range. VHF radio signal is line-of-sight based, and a longer antenna improves both transmission and reception. In rolling terrain or open country where your dogs might be working a mile or more out, upgrading the collar antenna is one of the most effective ways to extend reliable tracking range without upgrading any other hardware.

Same two-screw installation as every other Garmin antenna on the Alpha TT25 and T20 collars. Swap it in the truck before the hunt on the days you know you’re working big ground.
