Small dogs run hard. A compact pointer, a Brittany, a wirehaired pointing griffon — they work the same cover and cover the same ground as their bigger cousins, and they need GPS just as much. The Pathfinder 2 Mini is Dogtra’s answer: the full PATHFINDER2 system in a receiver sized for dogs that would be uncomfortable wearing the standard collar hardware.

Under the hood it’s the same system as the Pathfinder 2. Same 9-mile GPS range, same 2-second update rate, same free PATHFINDER2 app with offline maps, GPS fencing, and multi-dog tracking up to 21 dogs. The receiver just weighs less and sits closer to the neck — a meaningful difference on a 20-pound dog running all day.

Pager vibration and LED locate light are included on the Mini receiver, same as the standard. Receiver Lock Mode and Sleep Mode carry over as well. Compatible only with PATHFINDER2 hardware — the Mini receiver won’t pair with the original Pathfinder.

If you want to add a second Mini-sized dog to the system, the Pathfinder 2 Mini – Collar Only is the add-on. For hunters who prefer a standalone waterproof handheld over phone-based operation, the Dogtra Compass Handheld pairs with all PATHFINDER2 receivers including the Mini.
