The fenix 8, Instinct 3, and Epix Gen 2 don’t charge like your phone. Garmin uses a proprietary 4-pin clip connector that snaps onto the back of the watch. Standard USB-C on the wall or laptop end, Garmin clip on the watch end.

It ships with the watch. But field season is long and cables disappear. This is the replacement.
