The Pro 550 Plus uses GPS and GLONASS satellite reception to track your dogs’ positions in real time, displayed on the handheld’s screen with distance, direction, and status. Train and track up to 3 dogs simultaneously out to 9 miles. Eighteen levels of continuous and momentary stimulation plus tone and vibration, all accessible via the dial-and-switch layout you can operate without looking at your hand.
Waterproof to IPX7 and it floats. Battery life runs 24 hours.
Pro 550 Plus vs. Alpha series: The Alpha 300 and 200 series feature touchscreen displays, larger screens, longer battery life, and support for up to 20 dogs. The Pro 550 Plus tops out at 3 dogs and uses a traditional dial-and-button interface. If you run a small pack and prefer tactile controls over a touchscreen, the Pro 550 Plus is the right tool. If you manage more dogs or want the mapping and navigation depth of the Alpha system, step up to the Alpha 300.
