The Alpha 300 + TT25 bundle pairs Garmin’s flagship dog tracking handheld with the TT25 track-and-train collar. The Alpha 300 brings 55 hours of battery life, a 4-inch touchscreen with top-button operation, 20-dog capacity, and full TopoActive mapping. The TT25 brings 9-mile range, 68-hour battery life on the standard pack (136 hours with the Extended Life Battery, sold separately), 18 levels of stimulation, tone, and vibration, and 7-color LED beacon lights.

Set it up on day one and expand as your pack grows. Add T20s for finished dogs that need tracking but not training, or additional TT25s for young dogs still working through their education. The 300i option adds built-in inReach satellite two-way messaging. When you’re hunting country without cell service and want to be reachable in an emergency, the 300i is the right call. Subscription required.

Pair the system with a fēnix 8 or Instinct 3 watch in Broadcast Mode to see your dog’s location on your wrist without touching the handheld.

Our take: The grouse woods, big pheasant country, rolling coon country at night: wherever your dogs work and wherever they can disappear, this system puts you in control. The Alpha 300’s 55-hour battery paired with the TT25’s 68-hour battery means both devices outlast a full multi-day hunting trip on a single charge. That alone is worth the price of admission over older Alpha systems.
